Early one morning on a drive to Pennsylvania, I rounded the bend at 30 miles an hour to encounter a sight to be seen.  Ahead was a large bird standing in the middle of the road. At first, I thought it was a turkey vulture. Immediately thereafter, I noticed its white head. BALD EAGLE! The white plumage was undeniable. My foot hit the brake, and I came to a stop on this seemingly deserted road. It appeared there was a woman on the other side of the road who might have just finished her morning run. There was a car ahead at a full stop. At first, I put my right blinker on while in park. Then, I put on my emergencies so as not to distress the woman walking solo with her possibly questioning my stoppage, worrying what might ensue. I pulled out my phone and began taking pictures. The runner traversed the road and stood behind my car a bit, her mouth agape.

We watched  it make its way to an animal that had been hit and killed on the roadside. With a swift move, its talons appeared and the eagle made an attempt to steal the prey from where it lay. The liftoff was unsuccessful. Upon concluding that another attempt would prove fruitless, the grand bird boldly flew away. This very primitive act that encompassed ferocity, resolute, and swift decisiveness made a deep impression on me.

Speechless. I wanted to get out of the car and discuss the spectacle with the lone woman who shared the movie set with me. Instantly, I decided it best to leave as I did not want to possibly jar a stranger on an empty rural road. The vision of the eagle and its grandeur was enough and her having also witnessed it was enough.

I drove away without having reviewed whether any of my phone’s pictures captured what I had beheld. It didn’t matter. Indelible in my mind’s eye, the movie clip was imprinted and, again, that was enough.

Now at my destination, I pulled out the phone to find any clear image captured through my car windshield. One stood out and the said picture accompanies this Blog post.

Spiritualists encouraged me to look up eagle energy, animal totem messages, eagle spirit symbolism. My heart was full as I read Ted Andrews’ Animal Speak. “Eagle. You got my attention.” Eagle appeared at the right time and made a very loud pronouncement to me. I heed its words – its grace and all that it represented that day. Just passing forward this story gives me a sense of uplift knowing that we are all supported by Messengers who take many forms. My Messenger that day was eagle.

Pay attention to the signs – the Messengers that cross our paths. Animal. Vegetable. Mineral. It might be visible. It might be etheric. You will sense a message is before you if you open yourself to your Divine Senses.

All is a spectacular movie for Love’s sake. Healing. Growing. Shifting. Playing. Make SUCH a good one…

On the wings of Eagles,

Bless you,
